carbon raiser is made from washed "Ningxia Taixi" anthracite coal in vertical shaft furnaces under 1300ºC, also called Calcined Anthracite Coal, Gas Calcined Anthracite Coal, Recarburizer, etc. It has the characteristic of low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, high fixed carbon, high mechanical strength, high chemical activity, high absorptivity of carbon and strong oxidation resistance. Therefore, it was already widely used in metallurgical industry instead of calcined petroleum coke.
