Graphited petroleum coke is made by calcined petroleum coke. The main process is the graphitiztion in the graphitization furnace. Graphitized petroleum coke is a good quality recarburizer product with low nitrogen Characteristics.
Graphite petroleum coke is widely used in special casting processes as a recarburiser, in particular in manufacturing high-quality ductile and grey cast iron products with precisely controlled sulphur content, as well as in other applications.
