(1) Lithium based grease, especially the grease thickened by 12-hydroxylstearate lithium, has only two phase transition temperatures. The first phase transition temperature (from pseudo-gel state to gel state) is generally above 170ºC, and the second phase transition temperature (from gel state to sol state) is generally above 200ºC. Therefore, when the appropriate mineral oil is selected, It can be used at 120ºC for a long time or 150ºC for a short time.

Automotive type
Automotive general lithium based grease is made of lithium fatty acid soap thickened with low freezing point mineral oil and added with rust inhibitor and antioxidant. The product has good mechanical stability, colloid stability, water resistance, rust resistance and oxidation stability. Used in the working temperature range of -30 ~ 120ºC automotive hub bearing, chassis, water pump and generator and other friction parts of lubrication. National standard GB/T5671--1995 for general lithium lubricating grease for automobile.
Extreme pressure type
Extreme pressure lithium lubricating grease is made by thickening mineral lubricating oil with lithium fatty acid soap and adding antioxidant and extreme pressure agent. It is used for lubrication of bearings and gears of high-load mechanical equipment with operating temperature between -20 ºC and 120ºC, and can also be used for centralized lubrication system.
