It can be divided into four kinds: open furnace coke, kettle coke, delayed coke and fluidized coke
(2) According to heat treatment temperature
Calcined coke can be divided into two kinds: calcined coke and calcined coke. The former is produced by delayed coking (or other coking methods), has a lot of volatile matter and low mechanical strength, and calcined coke is produced by calcination. Most refineries in China produce only raw coke, and most calcination operations take place in carbon plants
(3) According to the sulfur content of the high distinction
Calcined petroleum coke (cooked coke is also called calcined coke)
It can be divided into high sulfur coke, medium sulfur coke and low sulfur coke 3 kinds
(4) According to the appearance and performance of petroleum coke
It can be divided into three kinds: spongy coke, honeycomb coke and needle coke
