Turbine oil
Turbine oil, also known as turbine oil, usually includes steam turbine oil, gas turbine oil, hydraulic turbine oil and antioxidant turbine oil, etc., mainly used for turbine oil and the lubrication of the sliding bearing, reduction gear, governor and hydraulic control system of the linked unit. The function of turbine oil is mainly lubrication, cooling and speed regulation.

Performance requirement
According to the function characteristics of the turbine oil, in order to ensure the safe and economic operation of the turbine unit, the turbine oil must have:
1. Good oxidation stability;
2. Suitable viscosity and good viscosity-temperature;
3. Good resistance to emulsification;
4. Good rust prevention and corrosion resistance;
5. Good foam resistance and air release.

China's turbine oil classification standard GB7631.10 is equivalent to ISO6743 standard, which divides turbine oil into five categories and twelve varieties according to its special use. The steam turbine oil is subdivided into four grades: TSA, TSC, TSD and TSE, and the gas turbine oil is subdivided into five grades: TGA, TGB, TGC, TGD and TGE, of which TSA, TSE, TGA, TGB and TGE are mineral oils, and TSE and TGE are extreme pressure turbine oils.

Peculiarity
China's L-TSA steam turbine oil product standard is GB11120-89, the standard steam turbine oil according to 40ºC motion viscosity center value is divided into 32, 46, 68, 100 four viscosity grades (grades), and divided into excellent products, first-class products and qualified products three quality grades, of which excellent products for the international advanced level, a grade for the international general level.

Performance difference
Anti turbine oil is used for nitrogen, hydrogen and  as the compression medium compressor and turbine share the same lubrication system device, the biggest difference with ordinary turbine oil is to replace the ordinary turbine oil with neutral or alkaline anti-rust agent T746 and other acid anti-rust agent, to ensure that the oil does not react with  in the system, resulting in white flocculent precipitation, so as to affect the normal operation of the machine



Advantage
Gas turbine because of the characteristics of energy saving and power, in the operation process, the lubricating oil is subjected to high hot surface action, mixed with air (flue gas), pumped and circulated at a considerable rate, and used under high pressure, therefore, the gas turbine oil is required to have better high temperature oxidation stability and anti-wear than the steam turbine oil.

Attention to use
Steam turbine oil in use should pay attention to:
1. As far as possible to prevent steam turbine unit leakage, water leakage, leakage
2. The return oil temperature is controlled below 65ºC 
3. The tank regularly cuts water and releases impurities to keep the oil clean from water, rust, sediment and other pollution.

Maintenance measures
In order to extend the service life of the oil, the maintenance of the oil in operation should be strengthened, and the following anti-inferior measures can be taken:
1. Adding T501 antioxidant
2. Add T746 anti-rust agent
3. Remove mechanical impurities and oil from the oil at any time to ensure the cleanliness of the system.

Oil change index
China has promulgated L-TSA turbine oil change index SH/T0636-96; Anti turbine oil change index SH/T0137-92 and ship turbine oil change index GJB3714-89; In addition, GB7596-87 and GB/T9939-86 respectively stipulate the relevant turbine oil quality monitoring projects and indicators in the operation of the power sector and chemical fiber fertilizer industry.
