Dia 75mm-700mm L1800-2700mm UHP HP RP Graphite Electrode with 4tpi 4tpil Nipple for Eaf Lf(1) For electric arc furnace steelmaking Electric furnace steelmaking is the main user of graphite electrode. The output of electric furnace steel accounts for about 18% of the crude steel, and the graphite electrode used in steelmaking accounts for 70%~80% of the total consumption of graphite electrode. Electric furnace steelmaking uses graphite electrode to introduce current into the furnace, and uses the high temperature heat source generated by the arc between the electric extreme and the charge for smelting.

(2) for mineral heat furnace. Ore furnace is mainly used to produce industrial silicon and yellow phosphorus. Its feature is that the lower part of the conductive electrode is buried in the charge, forming an arc in the charge layer, using the heat generated by the resistance of the charge itself to heat the charge. Among them, the mineral-heating furnace with high current density needs graphite electrodes, such as about 100kg graphite electrode for every 1t silicon production and 40kg graphite electrode for every 1t yellow phosphorus production.

(3) For the resistance furnace production of graphite products graphitization furnace, glass melting furnace, the production of silicon carbide furnace all belong to the resistance furnace, the furnace material is not only heating resistance body, but also the heated object. A conductive graphite electrode is usually embedded in the furnace head wall at the end of the resistance furnace, which is used for intermittent consumption of the graphite electrode here.

(4) For the preparation of special-shaped graphite products. Electrode blank is also used for processing all kinds of special-shaped graphite products, such as crucible, mold, boat, heater and so on. For example, in the glass industry, every 1t of molten tube production, 10t needs graphite electrode blank; 100kg graphite electrode blank is consumed for every 1t quartz brick.
